Akima Facilities Management LLC has demonstrated reliable performance in the engineering and the technical facility O&M arena augmented by capabilities in test operations, communications, and security. We are an Alaska Native Corporation, certified as an 8(a) small business by the Small Business Administration.
These areas require unique technical expertise. A few examples of the uniqueness are the test set ups and operation of the test sytems at the NASA Glenn Research Center, the engineering stability modeling of the International Space Station and the operation of Military Affiliated Radio Systems. Even in the case of the facilities which we operate, there is the need to provide the services in a manner unique to the research and test program such as those at a missile test range and a Department of Agriculture research facility. In addition, Akima Facilities Management LLC can deliver time-critical operations utilizing its project management approaches and focus on customer values.
